Award Winning Miika 3D Animated Short Film ~ Written & Directed by Nsiimenta Shevon, Animated by Sowl Studios with Solomon W. Jagwe as the Creative Director and Animator ~ Award-winning 3D animated short film created for Nsiimenta Shevon, an extremely talented Ugandan film director. We used the Unreal Engine for setting up the environment and rendering, and iClone for the animation. The character motion capture was done using the Xsens suit. Environment 3D modeling in Maya was done by our lead 3D modeler, Bruno Louis Ssekandi.

Jagwe as the Creative Director and Animator ~ “Miika” was inspired by the harsh history of the rebel attacks of 1986-2009 in Northern Uganda and the tyrannical rule of President Idi Amin (1970s) and his soldiers.
